Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
Where are you located? We are currently located at 193 Northfield Rd, Northfield, IL 60093. We are INSIDE of a 10,000 square foot gym called MyBody Complex. The entrance is at the BACK of the building. Chicago location coming soon!
-
I've tried physical therapy in the past, and it didn't help. How are you different? We get this ALL the time. Unfortunately, the physical therapy industry does a poor job of regulating skilled clinicians. Our clinicians have post-doctoral training in Orthopedics. This is a highly specialized group of clinicians that are <10% across the country. Some of our clinicians are fellowship trained, putting them in the top 1% of the country. The advanced training allows us to hone in on the SOURCE of your symptoms to provide long term relief.
-
Will I be passed off to a therapy aide?Absolutely not. We offer 1:1 treatment with your Doctor of Physical Therapy
-
What if I need to cancel my appointment? Please notify us >24 hours prior to your appointment! As our schedules are full, we would like to be able to offer the slot to patients on our waitlist. We have a strict $150 fee for appointments canceled <24 hours prior to the appointment time.
-
Do you take insurance? We are currently in-network with BCBS PPO plans and Medicare. We can check out of network coverage for all other plans. Packaged treatment options and Memberships are available as well. Ask about any of our current offers!
-
I have finished physical therapy, but I would love maintenance work from a Doctor of Physical Therapy. What do you offer? We offer maintenance packages based on your goals! We have many patients who either run out of insurance visits, or have completed physical therapy, but they'd like weekly or monthly check ins. Reach out to hear about any of our current offers!
-
What treatment techniques do you all use?It depends! We evaluate your symptoms to see what type of issue is going on: is it stiffness? Joint-related? Muscle-related? Nerve? Post-operative? Based on these questions, we can perform dry needling, joint mobilizations, blood flow restriction therapy (BFR), instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASMT), and of course exercise!
